70 years of helping people to care for our ocean

uShaka Sea World Education classes continue

The challenges of Covid and restriction on school outings didn’t prevent Westville Senior Primary School scholars from learning about the ocean.
As the grade 5 teachers have been teaching about pollution, climate change and over fishing as part of their English lessons, they invited the uShaka Sea World Education team conduct a marine lesson for all three grade 5 classes.
We were delighted to spend three mornings with the learners this week focusing on the impact humans have on ocean health.
The learners participated eagerly in the storytelling and ocean acidification experiments with the highlight being the fish dissection.
