A huge thank you to all the people who watched our video and voted for us. We are delighted to have been chosen as the winner in the metagenomics section of Inqaba’s African Genome challenge.
This will afford us the opportunity to explore the biodiversity and complexity of South Africa’s reefs in unprecedented detail and help usher in a new era of genomic research in South Africa.
We are excited to partner with Inqaba and other institutions for this exciting project that will help us to manage and protect our unique South African marine ecosystems.
