SAAMBR has once again produced an inspirational conservation calendar featuring uShaka Sea World animals. This 2017 marine calendar is produced each year by uShaka Sea World staff and is sold both before and after daily dolphin presentations.

The calendar highlights environmental days and gives the reader simple activities to do at home to participate in the celebration of our environmental days.

South Africans are becoming increasingly aware that actions on land ultimately affect the oceans. By making simple changes to our lifestyles we can lower our impact on the environment, which is good news for the health of the oceans and for the many creatures that live there.

More than 100 beautiful photographs were submitted by both staff and members of the Westville Camera Club for inclusion in the calendar. The photos were all of a high standard and the judges had a difficult task selecting the final 12, plus a cover image. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit their photographs.

These calendars make ideal gifts that keep on giving throughout the year. They feature inspirational messages complimented by outstanding marine imagery.

The calendars are designed to inspire people to care for our environment, and are sold on a cost-recovery basis. The price of these calendars has stayed the same for five years thanks to the generous donation of the photographs and in-house layout and design.

If you would like to purchase the calendar, it sells for R50 at SAAMBR or for orders, please call Ann on (031) 328 8152 or send your enquiry to info@saambr.org.za
